Assuming that recipients view this header. Come to think of it, this
header is shown on my computer, but Joe Public might not even know or
be interested in knowing what an X-Mailer header is.

Maybe the vendor just wants to show that the buyer has bought a
different version, the "educational" (not "student", as Sudip pointed
out) version of TB. By sheer coincidence, it has the same
functionality as the "Personal" version.
