Yes,  I  can  see  how this method could be setup quite effective, and
taking this on board and Marck's suggestion, I think I will be able to
set  this  up  rather  nicely  into  a  system that will even work for
someone like me... ;-)

Perhaps  I have misunderstood this paragraph, but, how do your filters
look  for threads you wish to ignore? This could be highly valuable if
this does what I imagine it does. Can you mark a thread as irrelevant,
and  than  have  all  those  messages  automatically filed as Read for
example?... or...?
