I think I'm going to give up. NOD32.BAV-file installed in The Bat. When I send eicar attached as eicar.com ZoneAlarm renames it, TB imports it (renamed). When I send eicar attached in eicar.zip TB imports it. In neither case I get a warning from NOD32. Don't know if the fact that the messages are being sent as forwarded Opermail messages has something to do with it. In both cases, when I try to open the attachement Amon prohibits it (the (fake) virus is recognised. No warning message is being sent to the sender. Same situation with PC-Cillin 2000 (without a BAV-file) except for the fact that I get a warning message during POP3scan informing me of the fact a virus was detected. Perhaps I should try it once more with a "direct" (as opposed to "forwarded" message)... -- Best Whishes, Mark using The Bat! 1.63 Beta/7 ________________________________________________ Current version is 1.62 | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
