I'm still using Zone Alarm(latest version) without any problems, but it's true that not everybody had a good experience with it. And, the choice of a firewall is pretty much personal preference(options, interface, etc...). > I see from one of your previous messages that you're running 2 firewall > software solutions, Norton Internet Security and Kerio Personal > Firewall. If you notice carefully, he mentions that in the Norton Internet Security, there's only the spam filter and antivirus that is active, so the Norton firewall is inactive. And, might I add that the spam filter is new to Norton. I would suggest Spyder to deactivate the spam filter first, then if the problem still persists, deactivate NAV. If the problem still persists beyond deactivating those 2 applications, then it would be to start deactivating one-by-one anything that is connecting to the internet or used by the connection(Kerio Firewall). It's just a process of elimination, to possibly find the cause. -- Best regards, Daniel Rail Senior System Engineer ACCRA Group Inc. (www.accra.ca) ACCRA Med Software Inc.
