Just select the text you want to quote and press F4

Cannot be easily done, takes a lot of fancy stuff. Insert the macro
from http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/Library.html?category=Miscellaneous#boxquotes
into your reply template and replace %-%COMMENT='%CLIPBOARD'%- with
%-%COMMENT='%Text'%- and you should be a bit on your way.

Press Alt-L with the cursor on the quoted text, I don't think that'll
work as intended after you've changed your quote prefix.
