I'm currently using Outlook 2000, and would like to make the switch to The Bat if not
for
one major problem. I have many emails saved as seperate files on my harddrive... both
.eml files from when I used Outlook Express, and .msg files from Outlook 2000. Nearly
all
of these contain attachments of Microsoft Word (.doc) and Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) files,
and
this is where the problem arises.

The Bat handles the .eml files with no problem... the attachments are intact and
properly
displayed in the attachment bar, and can be opened with no troubles. But with the .msg
files, the attachments are not shown in the side-bar, and instead become huge masses of
gibberish code. Plus, the header with the "from," "to," etc, is mysteriously gone. I
also tried opening another .msg file which did NOT contain any attachments, and it too
was
"distorted" with a bunch of coding gibberish, and barely readable.

Any ideas as to how I could correct this problem with .msg files?

Thanks,
mike
