Okay...I'll try not to ignore you on this particular issue...

It is my understanding that with all the various text formatting
options available to various email clients across several OS
platforms, the only reliable *standard* remains *Simple Plain Text*.

If you're using the "Windows compatible" editor, and using a
proportional font of your liking during composition, it is my further
understanding that this is no guarantee that your recipient will see
it *exactly* as you feel you might have intended, because some
recipient of yours just may not have a particular font available in
their system...or, their system's way of dealing with line ending
issues is different than the method *your* system uses, thereby
potentially causing unexpected behavior at your recipient's end. I
should mention here that I'm theorizing in general terms, admittedly
without a comprehensive knowledge of exactly how various systems might
and/or do interact on all these levels.

This brings me back to the idea of "simple plain text" formatting for
*the best possible compatibility* with *anyone's* system. Until I
learn otherwise, I will always recommend using the "MicroED" editor
with TB!, and using editor utility options like "auto-wrap", and if
you wish, "auto-format" as well (when it seems appropriate to you). At
least this way, you can be *quite certain* that once you've sorted out
what seems a reasonable adherence to "netiquette standards" with
regards to line wrapping lengths and such, and sort out your own
issues of learning to use the many *plain text* editing configurations
and keyboard shortcuts available to you with TB!, *all* your
recipients have a decent chance of reading well (neatly) formatted,
easy to read text. To my mind, this is the only reliably courteous
thing to do (and it really doesn't seem much of a bother to accomplish
either).
