Have you tried regular Inbox-filters or selective download filters?
AFAIK selective download filters do not check the body, but only the
header (or parts of it) of any mail.

In case of inbox filters: What kind of action did you chose to be
performed?

Have you tried placing the filter topmost, so that it is executed
prior to all other (inbox-)filters (just to make sure it's not other
filters that keep your new filter from working)?

Have you clicked ...

  Rule is
  [x] Active

... on the very bottom of the Rule pane in the sorting office?

An easy way to separate spam form regular mail is using SpamPal or
PopFile, either alone or combined with some anti-spam plugin (be it
BayesIt, Achim Winkler's bayesfilter-plugin or vampireX).

There may be others as well, however, I'm using SpamPal and the
BayesIt-plugin and combine them with a set of selective download
filters. Works fine for me.
