I am only working with Inbox filters.

Move to the trash folder.

I have tried this. It has been in several locations. I just tested it
at the top. Same story.

[x]Active and [ ]Manual not checked.

I would like to figure out what is with this message. I am pretty sure
that I have everything setup correctly. The message appears to be
text, but even when I post it into a text editor, it seems to have
some sort of formatting.

I have a spam filter on my pobox.com account. This was rated 3/10.
I get rid of most spam with The Bat filters. It is just 3 or 4 that really
get on my nerves.
