Theoretically no time limit.  Goods sold have to be fit for the purpose
described, and in certain instances give fair wear and tear, etc. etc.
(Trade Practices Act)

In real life, a different matter! Can be quite a grey area at times.

Others with more experience with this in Oz may wish to advise how this
affects software?
