I just received this message from my provider: To use EarthLink's Authenticated SMTP (ASMTP) server to send email from your EarthLink email address, you need to make a one-time change to the settings in your email program. Your settings should be changed to:
Server address: smtpauth.earthlink.net Account ID or Username: your EarthLink email address Password: your EarthLink password Is there any reason why The Bat! can't handle this? Does The Bat! support Earthlink's "Authenticated SMTP," whatever that is? Earthlink informs me that they don't "support" The Bat! (which they've been doing for years now), and if I can no longer use The Bat!, I need to start looking for a new provider... -- Best regards, Jack mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ________________________________________________ Current version is 3.00.00 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
