Hello List,

I have an old problem with my Bat Installation and would be luck for any helping
hand. In the beginning I wanted to switch to Thunderbird, but after Testing the
new Version 3, I'm happy with the Bat and V3 is really what V2 had should be, so
I think I keep it, even if I don't like the way the company handle the
communication with the user. But i must say the really improved the V3 since the
ReleaseBETA Version and honour this.

But sorry enough of this gossip. So heres the problem with my installation:

It's the old song from switching the partition with the Bat and since I change
from D: to C:, some folder (Inbox, Outbox, Trash) in two of my 5 mail accounts
show in the 'Folder Properties' not <custom> but the path to the old
installation (in my case D:\Programme\Tools\The Bat!\MAIL\Adrian\Inbox).

So what to to? First i try a backup of the mail then used the restore function,
but that doesn't help. Then I try if the old path are in the Registry, or if it
will help to edit the messages.tbb/tbi but that doesn't work at all. So does the
manual copy in the explorer.

The custom support of the Bat itself is also non existent, because they don't
even give an answer to my question, so I was thinking of living with this error.

But simple things are mostly the answer and last night I wonder why not to copy
all the messages of the Folders on the wrong Volume, in the Bat itself to a new
Folder (in windows with the explorer, that doesn't help at all).

So now I copy them to a new folder and wonder if its possible to switch the old
Inbox, Outbox, Trash withe the new ones.

But because i cannot find the error with makes this whole fuss, maybe it's
better to ask first if someone has an idea how to make this smooth, and not
screw up the whole Bat.

Thanks for your Patience and have a great week(end)
adrian
