Dear Darrin, @5-Jan-2005, 19:55 -0800 (06-Jan 03:55 UK time) Darrin Rich [DR] in mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] said to TBUDL:
DR> Every time I check a certain mail account of mine I get this DR> notification from my AV software stating a virus was received. DR> (see images)http://www.sidnak.net/netsky/ DR> It litterally comes every few seconds. Is there a way to filter this DR> with TB! so I can delete it from server? Okay. 2 choices 1) (quick, simple and get you out of it for now) Use the "Account .. Dispatch mail on server" to preview waiting messages and delete the wrongun before download begins. 2) (the proper way to stop this happening ever again) throw away that nanny of a piece of interfering anti-virus software and install AVG or NOD or something like. One that won't interfere with the normal operation of your system in a way that is certainly worse the the effects of a trojan that will never get executed. Never, because you're using TB and are already immunised and insulated from the direct effects. -- Cheers -- //.arck D Pearlstone -- List moderator and fellow end user TB! v3.0.2.10 on Windows XP 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 '
