Can you configure your AV software so that it won't scan TB's temporary
directory? That will stop the "Realtime Scan" popups when TB writes its
temporary files on retrieving messages from the server.

(the path would be "C:\Documents.bla...\Darrin\Local.bla...\Temp",
according to your screenshot)

Furthermore, if you disable the mail scanner of the AV, you won't see the
mailscan popup either. That may sound dangerous at first, but I dare say
that mail scanners are for extremely paranoid people. And for users of an
unpatched system, of course. :-)

Think about it:

 1. you're using TB. Its not vulnerable to the security hole that Netsky
    tries to exploit (nor to any other security hole that I know of)

 2. TB will warn you if you try to open the attachment, because its an .exe

 3. the realtime scanner of the AV will kick in anyway if you open/save the
    attachment.
