I appreciate both yours and Robert's responses and I thank you both
for testing it for me, however when I follow the instructions you have
given and when I get to the new account, I am presented with a circle
with a line through it (the universal symbol to signify that something
is prohibited).
I am holding down the Alt key and I left click and hold to drag the
folder to the new account, but as soon as the folder leaves the
account in which it is located (i.e, crosses the barrier), the symbol
described above appears. And when I reach the folder where I want to
deposit the folder and let go, nothing happens.
I'm perplexed.
I thought briefly that it might be due to having sub folders under the
one I was trying to move, but I tested with a folder that had no
sub folders and I got the same results.
