Dear Thomas,

TF> Why so complicated?

Because I am a power crazed technophile with a penchant for full
automation.

The QT's are the same ones I use for standard replies. I didn't write
them specially for the job, they were already there. I just copied my
standard reply template and shifted a couple of things around. I do
have a second version of tr called trl. That is my "Love from"
template, which gives only my first name in the from and is much more
casual. I think it also includes the cookified attribution mechanism
we've been chatting about privately.

TF> In my business accounts, the templates are all set up for

TF> starts.

... and my tr QT performs that job for me, whichever account I am
using. Besides, I pretty much have 1 email address that I use for
everything. I've had this address for 14 years now, so it's not so
easy for me to separate business and personal mail. Also, I have to
decide on the fly who gets a top-posted reply and whose is in-line.

Horses for courses, as they say. Make mine a horses doovre (hors
d'oevres - geddit? [groan]).
