Confirmed. In the HTML editor, the *closing* angle bracket is also included. If you enclose the URL in brackets, as is claimed in bug 5254 to be common:- (http://example.com/ends-with-(parens)) In MicroEd, the bracket at the beginning and the extra bracket at the end are *not* included. The Bracket that is the last character of the URL *is* included. In Windows Editor, the bracket at the beginning and *both* brackets at the end are included. In HTML editor the one at the beginning is *not* included but *both* at the end *are* included. > It will be interesting to send and receive this message > and see what the various viewers do!
