John has a good point. A lot of this is about options. People have a
choice of working near their work or not. What is their priority, bigger
lots over long commute? However, this ties into the transit debate. What
David Strom is advocating is taking away our option of using mass transit!
People should have the option (although many don't have another alternative)
to take transit.

Personally I am against toll roads. I don't think the toll will go away
when the road is paid off. The money will be too enticing for whoever
builds it. I would rather see a 5 cent a gallon increase in state taxes
that are earmarked specifically for roads and transit.
