Andrew,

I am not one of the people who brought the idea up with Lisa. 

Perhaps it would be helpful if those who did so posted their reasons, how
they see a wiki functioning, its purpose, and so forth.

I could see a "closed" wiki with solid articles that are updated in a
controlled fashion. Even standard questions frequently need updating as time
goes by.
