The point really is that we have had an online techwriting community for a long time, and many of us have been members of the various lists for so long that we have answered the same questions hundreds of times.
If this list catches on as an alternative to tecwr-l (many have tried; none have succeed), then we're going to see the same things over. And the same information is going to get posted. An information repository for techwriters has long been needed.
