Hi Carol, I'll counter back to you with some questions that may help you figure out the problem: * Are the cross-references to the Number 1 tag in a text inset? Cross-references in text insets don't get the usual hyperlinks. What you see will work in the Frame file, but there's nothing there in the PDF. There are a couple of solutions to this that involve converting the text insets back to text before generating a PDF. There are a couple of ways to do this. I can go into more detail if that's what the problem is. * Do the paragraphs tagged with Number 1 exist in the PDF file in question? You can have a live, valid cross-reference to a target paragraph in Frame, but if that target paragraph doesn't appear in the PDF, there can't be valid cross-references to it. I've had that happen before. I get mad because I know a link works in Frame, but then I find out that the target paragraph is hidden by conditional text or that the file isn't included in that particular book. Let me know if one of those answers your questions. Donna - CONFIDENTIAL- This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential, and may also be legally privileged.
