It may be a new feature, or may depend on how the request is sent, but I
got a message from a recruiter a few weeks ago that had a "Not
Interested at the time" button. When I clicked on it, it opened a text
form that allowed me to send a message saying "thanks, but not
interested at this time".

Subject: Re: [TCP] Anyone use LinkedIn?

Three. I replied directly to Donna with some details I thought
inappropriate for the public list, but -- yes, I too have politely
turned
down invitations. I wish that LinkedIn had a way of sending a polite
refusal that did not also BAN further requests from that person. That
is
a good remedy for pests, but I would like a less drastic option.
