Hi Lisa,

Last year, the company I work for was bought by a big corporation. It's been
10 months and they're still figuring out what to do with some of us. So far,
few changes have affected me personally. The most I've had to do thus far is
update some legalese in our manuals. I'm sure in the future there will be many
more changes including the tools and output, but I've managed to keep out of
the limelight.

Just remember to ask all the right questions or you may be the last one to
know. The only reason anyone told me about the legal front matter change is
that I anticipated and asked about it.

 Good luck!

 Arroxane

Subject: [TCP] Mergers, Buyouts, and Other Changes

  Hi everyone,

A couple of weeks ago, the company I work for was bought by a company based
in New Zealand. I don't think my job is in jeopardy, but of course, one
never knows for sure.

Does anyone have any stories to share about the effects of mergers, buyouts,
and other organizational changes on the technical communications employees?

I hope your week is going well!

Warm regards,
Lisa B.
