Yeah, I get that Bill, the only problem I'll run up against is the fact that for most UK orgs, meetings take place in London. That's a few hundred miles from me and means a day, or two, out of my time. Not ideal.
Of course that probably means I should start a more local chapter myself... No one's going to do that for you. Basically, if you join any society, all you get is the stuff they push out. For real benefit, you need to get out there and get active. I can't tell you how wonderful networking with other professionals out there has been. Not only do I have a lot of professional contacts, but I've made a lot of excellent close friendships as well. I've not been disappointed. -- Bill Swallow HATT List Owner WWP-Users List Owner Senior Member STC, TechValley Chapter STC Single-Sourcing SIG Manager http://techcommdood.blogspot.com avid homebrewer and proud beer snob "I see your OOO message and raise you a clue." ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ This email (and any attachments) is private and confidential, and is intended solely for the addressee.
