My name is Gordon McLean. I am a Technical Communicator. I have also been
known as a Technical Administrator, Technical Author, Documentation
Specialist, Technical Communications Manager, Senior Technical Author,
Technical Publications Team Lead, Publications Team Lead and other names
that I can't utter here ("Ohh no, here comes that annoying ******* again,
hide! He'll only want the design doc updated!").
I've worked in software development for all of my ... gosh... 14 years in
the industry.
I dabble in Information Architecture (I'm a member of the IAI), and I'm
always on the look out for new things to add to my core skills as a
technical writer (I'm a member of the ISTC too). I design the odd website,
maintain two blogs (one personal, one professional), and run a blog
directory website.
