Yeah, what the heck! ;-) I'm Susan W Gallagher; my friends call me Sue. I started as a trainer on Wang mini-computers back in the mid 1980s and worked as a trainer for about 7 years, on Wang and DOS systems, writing curriculum for classes and teaching word processing, databases, spreadsheets, system operation, and the like. In the early 1990s, I moved to the San Diego area and (eventually) got a job working for a Smalltalk vendor. Since then, I've worked almost exclusively in documenting APIs and almost always as doc manager or team lead. I've documented code written in Smalltalk, Java, C++, C#, and VB and also worked a lot with XML and SOAP. I'm currently Lead API Writer for a team that produces internal tools used to program games for the Sony PlayStation. This is my first ReallyBigCompany(tm) gig; I've always worked in software start-ups. After 25 years in the asteroid belt I've been captured by the gravity of a gas giant!
I've been online almost forever - one of my bosses told me I get more google hits than a porn star. <g> But the material isn't nearly as interesting. Or, you can visit my desperately needy of update web site at http://members.cox.net/susanwg/ Have a great day! -Sue Gallagher ______________________________________________ Author Help files and create printed documentation with Doc-To-Help.
