I've noticed a large number of really cheap low lumens 60 watt bulbs, recently. Home Depot had some 60 watt bulbs from a brand I had never heard of for really cheap...and they were 450 lumens rated. Dollar Tree had packs of 3 60 watt 500-something lumens bulbs. For just over $2 per 4-pack, Dollar General still has plenty of the good GE 800+ lumens rated 60 watt bulbs. Lowes seems to be the best place to get Sylvania incandescents in big sturdy cardboard boxes designed for stacking - great for long term storage.

I was in both a Home Depot and a Lowe's yesterday. Noticed Home Depot seemed to be emphasizing new LED bulbs with end cap displays in several places out side of the bulb department. Lowe's had three or four *pallets* of incandescent bulbs in the main isle just past the entrance. Wondering if this was their stock pile, and they decided to put it all out at once before the public catches on about the law being blocked. -- William _______________________________________________ tech-chat mailing list [email protected] http://lists.linuxmoose.com/mailman/listinfo/tech-chat -- Allen Beddingfield [email protected]
