I have a Dyson Animal because I had 2 Golden Retrievers. It does a
good job. I got it to replace an Oreck because the filters in the
Oreck continued to smell like Dog even when changed. In my opinion,
the Oreck had more suction, especially on the indoor/outdoor carpet in
the basement. I think the Oreck's brush got deeper into the carpet also.
The Dyson is worth the money though and it's definitely easy to empty
the cannister.

prepared to pay through the nose. She loves it because it does
