But that's suppose to be the great thing about Dyson is that it's bag less and filter less right? I currently have an Oreck with no complaints...but I don't have pets either.

The dyson is a good bagless vacuum but it doesn't match a good bag based vac. Bagless is nice at first until you have to remember to buy filters. The current bagless vac that I have has 4 different filters on it. -----Original Message----- From: tech-geeks-boun...@tech-geeks.org [mailto:tech-geeks-boun...@tech-geeks.org] On Behalf Of rkas...@valmeyerk12.org Sent: Tuesday, July 27, 2010 2:01 PM To: Tech-Geeks Mailing List Subject: Re: [tech-geeks] OT: Dyson vacuum cleaner I have a Dyson Animal because I had 2 Golden Retrievers. It does a good job. I got it to replace an Oreck because the filters in the Oreck continued to smell like Dog even when changed. In my opinion, the Oreck had more suction, especially on the indoor/outdoor carpet in the basement. I think the Oreck's brush got deeper into the carpet also. The Dyson is worth the money though and it's definitely easy to empty the cannister. Quoting Mike Oliveri <mike.oliv...@student.rb60.com>: > Got a friend that swears by his.
