That's exactly right. As a former custodian/son of a custodian and custodial supervisor you have no idea how badly a lot of "professional" folks treat them. A little friendliness goes a long way. Won't help the guy from hell but a good relationship with his boss could get him policing the back 40 far away from your labs.
