I’d rather be a Kool-Aid drinker than a Pudding-eater. ;)

On line with the boxee product lets not forget that the new Apple TV comes out

I still don't like Macs but I'll admit I like the iTunes bonjour mojo it does
making things available around my house. AppleTV will play youtube and netflix
and I'm suppose to be able to push photo slideshows from my iPhone to it when
iOS 4.2 gets released. Call me a kool-aid drinker but that sounds pretty slick.

I saw that too.
I tried Boxee a while ago, but then this stand-alone looks promising...

While not a DVR... I got a note about this pre-sale from Amazon this morning.

Would fit the bill for the Hulu / Netflix / YouTube viewers, I believe.

I've installed the Boxee software app a couple times, and still prefer my
MythTV interface for local shows. But, Boxee has a lot more stuff available
than my MythTV setup.

Has anyone set up or experimented with MythTV or SageTV as a DVR?

MythTV - http://www.mythtv.org/
SageTV - http://www.sagetv.com/

My wife has been bugging me about getting a DVR, and I just don’t want
another monthly charge. =(
