I did contact my carrier first and they hadn't a clue how to remedy the
issue and told ME to contact Blackberry. After a couple hours of screaming
at Blackberry and Verizon, Verizon "offered" to pay the fee and have
Blackberry call me back to remedy the issue.

The channel they usually prefer is you go through your carrier to
troubleshoot. If they cannot fix it, then escalate it to BBerry. If they
cannot fix it, escalate it to RIM. It's a long process, but that method
usually is free. You can always purchase T support, and get support from
BBerry for a yearly fee. Btw, don't even attempt to contact RIM. They
won't talk to you unless it's been an escalated case from blackberry.

Funny...I have a new blackberry and using Blackberry Desktop it alerted me
that I had an "update" last week that would add new "features". I ran the
update, it rebooted my computer, and once everything was back up and running
I ran the blackberry desktop software to find that my calendar was listed as
"not installed" in the synch listing. I called Blackberry and they wanted
to charge me $250.00 to "fix" the problem. Well you can just imagine what
an earful they got from me!!!!! Send an update that will add "new" features
and it breaks it!!!

I have a blackberry server and I didn't know it wasn't working properly
until l upgraded our Blackberry phones last week. Contacts are not being
synced.

I can't seem to find the way to do this. Anybody familiar with this
procedure?

Thanks
