Oh, Jim.... Ouchhhhh.......

But I agree. I only use Open Office.

Could that Office price be year one payment on that annual rental that MS

Whatever the price he offers you Abe, I can sell you a clone of office that I
think is a better product for $5.99 a computer. It's called Open Office and for
that price if you buy 100 licenses I'll provide a free install disk. Otherwise,
it's an extra $50 for the media. ;-)

Jim

I bought two labs from them this summer. Each lab was Dell's. They work well for our needs. The pricing was incredible. One lab was $185 ea. - and that was after I upgraded the RAM from 1GB to 2GB. The other lab needed more horsepower and was a little under $500 each. (We bought our own monitors.) Can't speak to the legality of the $20 office but I can say that they have treated us well. I had an issue with a bad PS and some keyboards and they sent replacements right away. We are happy with them thus far.

I'm not in the market for computers, but I just got off the phone with a guy
from CDI. He sent me some pricing on refurb units, it looks fine.

But, then he also sent me in writing that he can add MS Office to any machine
for $20. Is that even possible/legal? I'm paying $52 (or something like that)
from CDW on the State Select contract.

I told him I was buying Office Pro, not some limited version.

Thoughts?

Thanks,
Abe
