I usually get caught by the secretaries... they'll transfer the call down, but they wait a second or two before they flip the call over. When I reach for it, it shows the sec's extension, then by the time I get it to my ear it shows the actual caller's number.

There's about 3 secretaries that I let it ring several times before I actually answer, to combat that.

Generally, I let calls from zip codes that I don't recognize go to
voicemail. He's been calling every day for the last week, I finally
picked it up today... before I realized it.
