Well, student A logs in and all works fine, and no one else is logged into that
acc, then the mouse and keyboard freeze.
That is the part I am concerned about (mainly because I have no reason for this
to happen in my experience). The firefox issue is the result of the student
not being able to log out. But that issue is not big deal. The first one is.
thanks

Is the same student logging into the same user account that they locked up on a
server? Even though the session is locked, it may still be active on the
server.

If so Firefox only allows one session per user. We found this out with
NComputing terminals and remote desktops on Windows servers. If this is the
case you can either close the locked session, or at least the instance of
Firefox in that session, or open a different browser.

I received this email from a teacher who uses the lab the most for Apex. She
says: In the lab
1. multiple times a day on multiple computers the mouse or keyboard will
suddenly stop working. I have the students then hard boot or move to another
computer, but then they are unable to login and use apex because mozilla tells
them that "firefox is already running". This happens to at least 2 students a
class period and it causes the students to not be able to work.

Any ideas? I have zero at this point. Oh, I understand the FF already running
part. I mean the why the keyboards and mice suddenly freeze up.
