Ben,

Do you know if that option even exists in Lansweeper. I looked all over their
site and demo and couldn't seem to find it last night. However, there were so
many options, I may just have missed it.

We're using Lansweeper right now at the hospital (paid version) and it works
pretty well. I'm not sure about the manual entry stuff though as we don't use
it.

I'm looking for some software to do technology inventory. What I envision is
something that would not only collect data from any Ethernet connected device,
but would also have the ability to input data for other items, i.e., projectors
(that are not network connected), Smart Boards, etc.

I've been looking at Lansweeper which is not terribly expensive (and has a free
version to get started). Any recommendations from the group for other things
you are using?

Thanks,
