What's wrong with the linux PGP solution?

I don't have much to offer about linux WDE, but in windows, why not use
bitlocker? IMHO, it's perfect.

I'll ramble on about reasons if anyone's interested:

Can be deployed via group policy, but can also be deployed manually if you
wish. Does not require a password at boot time, but can only be decrypted
if (a) the hard drive is in the original computer, and (b) the hard drive is
currently being booted in that computer, and (c) the boot sector and boot
code have not been modified since the encryption was enabled. Or (d) you
have the 40-char long randomly generated decryption key which was saved
externally when bitlocker was first enabled.
