from 384GB to 768GB is a huge jump. the 16GB to 32GB dimms is about 4x the price. the price per system jumps from the $20k area to the $80k area.
Also, we tend to steer clear of the exotic quad processor and stacked motherboards since they are far less tested in the field than dual socket off-the-shelf versions. (they also cost a lot more).
