Definitely -- I often grab my partner, who's a CS prof and has an
added interest in my well-being, but I could also reach out to
other departments' sysadmins, profs from our department, our
administrative assistants, or students.

It's also probably a good idea to put a note on your door (and
maybe a guesstimate as to when you'll be back) so that people have
some vague idea where you are -- if you haven't come back after a
couple of hours, they might investigate.  In my experience,
sometimes a quick dash to swap a tape can lead to the discovery of
something else that needs your attention, and sometimes you get a
bit involved in that issue.
