Definitely -- I often grab my partner, who's a CS prof and has an added interest in my well-being, but I could also reach out to other departments' sysadmins, profs from our department, our administrative assistants, or students. It's also probably a good idea to put a note on your door (and maybe a guesstimate as to when you'll be back) so that people have some vague idea where you are -- if you haven't come back after a couple of hours, they might investigate. In my experience, sometimes a quick dash to swap a tape can lead to the discovery of something else that needs your attention, and sometimes you get a bit involved in that issue.
