(Changing the subject line.)

I have a ``Grip-A-Strip'' note holder on my door
(http://shopadvantus.com/grip-a-stripsatin.aspx) -- it has a
little rod inside so you can stick notes in, then release and
they're held in place; you get them out by pushing up and pulling
them out quickly.

I have a stack of 3" x 5" cards with common destinations on them
(e.g., Lunch, Machine Room, Lab A, Lab B, Upstairs) and pop the
appropriate one in when I'm going to be away for a few minutes. I
also have blank cards I can write on if I'm going somewhere
special, and occasionally I'll go through the handwritten cards
and make printed ones for places I go a lot.
