Hello Gordon and Sarah,

It is a slow Friday afternoon at work so I just had to
look this up on Google.

I'll be darned but this thing exists and I can see how
eye glasses and one's tongue got in to the discussion.

The "Brain Port" is an experimental device that
supposedly projects an image on to your tongue. There is an
stimulator about the size of a postage stamp that contains a
matrix of electrodes that rests on your tongue. A camera
produces the image and sends it to the stimulators so people who
are blind can feel the image on their tongues.

        The url is

On their web site, they say it is like painting pictures
on your tongue with champaign bubbles. Now that is some serious
marketing talk.

I think I will pass on this opportunity.

Martin
