Well the beauty with VoiceOver is no virtual cursors exist! Simply a VoiceOver cursor that a sighted person can see via a black rectangle! I know this is not VoiceOver but just saying!

Hi

I think this is where Window-Eyes has the better approach. I've always
believed that the best way to interact with a programme or application is toy
do as closely as possible what our visually abled friends would do. All this
nonsense about virtual cursors, invisible cursors, Jaws cursors just makes no
sense at all to me.

I acknowledge though that Jaws has the better responsiveness by a very long
way. I frequently get stuttering and stammering wit WE, but not with Jaws.

-Hitting the "dash" or ""minus" key will trigger the JAWS or mouse cursor key. You should then be
able to navigate in the same manner as with the virtual key. Also. A quick couble click on that same key will invoke what
they call the "invisible" cursor" which can sometimes be helpful. Hitting the Plus key again will return you
to the "virtual cursor.

Hi Mary

How does one manipulate the mouse pointer? I'm sure it can be done, but I
simply don't know how. I find it annoying that I have to keep swapping back to
Window-Eyes because I need to configure an application which relies on mouse
clicks.

Hi Gordon,

The arrow by themselves keys are what move you around the screen. If you let me
know more specifics where you want to move to, I could help you out a little
more by giving you some keyboard shortcuts.

Hi Chris

As for moving around the screen, the cursor keys on their own are
doing nothing.
