Hi! I was interested to read that caan buy adapters which plug into your power outlets, the other ends plug into your computer via the Lan port.
These adapters communicate with each other via your electrical wiring in your home and are capable of speeds up to a most respectable 500MBPS which is faster than Wi-Fi N at 300MBPS and obviously more secure. I'm thinking of upgrading my network and wandering down this path for all of those devices I have which are far from the router and can accept a LAN connection instead of using Wi-Fi so does anyone have any thoughts or experience with these devices? ********** Dane Trethowan Skype: grtdane12 Phone US (213) 438-9741 Phone U.K. 01245 79 0598 Phone Australia (03) 9005 8589 Mobile: +61400494862 Fax +61397437954 ======================================= The Techno-Chat E-Mail forum is guaranteed malware, spyware, Trojan, virus and worm-free To modify your subscription options, please visit for forum's dedicated web pages located at http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/mailman/listinfo/techno-chat You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Techno-Chat group at either of the following websites: http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/techno-chat/index.html Or: <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]> you may also subscribe to this list via RSS.
