Doug, I'm definetly not a network guru but I believe I have heard that with a hub, you need to use one computer as a host for the other computers connected through the hub. A router on the other hand, acts as the host for ALL the computers on the network, as well as having a hardware firewall. If I am wrong, please correct me.
