Howdy Joe, This is just to give you some info.............. These
repair kits are put together by me. What i have done is compile repair
tips from this and other forums and put info together. I then go to
servicers who specialize in a particular brand and run these fixes past
them with there input. With this info , i go to Tri-state module and
work with them on what they see as common failures. Then i put parts
together along with any notes on solder connections or things needed to
be checked. All kits are original parts except Zenith (only because they
discontinue everything). This way i am pretty confident that the product
covers what we claim. What i normally tell most people, is these kits
will most likely repair 70% of all common repairs. Not only that, but
may stop a recall because you are updating the board covering other
failures that might occur. Dealer response has been very good so far,
with some adding suggestions about what else they might need and what
others models they would like to see. Next month will be 29 years in
parts for me and would not jeopardize what little reputation i have
left. Hope this answers some questions out there and as always looking
for input both good and bad.
