I contacted Tritronics a while back about their repair kits and after I was assured that they used quality OEM parts I ordered one for the CTC185 chassis. Sure enough the kit came with all the parts individually packaged in RCA bags. I've never ordered a 169 kit but I suspect they are good also. It's a matter of convenience and having all the parts needed to complete the repair in one shot. Of course many parts will be replaced that weren't actually bad but repair time will be reduced and more money will be made.
I'm a firm believer in the possibilities these kits can offer if they are done properly. They would be very nice to have in the truck when you go out on a call.
