Just checked the 3.65 Alpha 65* using a Digital Smart Level pro and they are bang on. I'd verify that Bubble level to be sure.

Telrad did tell me that the 3.65 Alpha's were neg 1 on the bore site, so 3 degrees above and 4 degrees below on the 7 degree V beam.

Would you not trust when a manufacturer puts degree marks on their engineered mount, I know my others check out.....

Should... Could of would of.... Didn't.

Why would you not use the inclinometer to verify the antenna tilt?

Well, I hope Alpha will be compensating us for every site we need to revisit. I AM absolutely Furious!!

Every single one of our sites we use a level or inclometer on a mount for 0 deg or compensate... Set the antenna for 3-4 degrees... according to our RNP and call it a day.

We have discovered that ALL our ALPHA degree markings are 2 degrees off!

This means my entire network... Which has felt like self interference... Is self interference. All the antennas are 1 to 2 degrees tilt!!!

Please see attached photos...

We used a sunsight azimuth and tilt meter to confirm. We used the sunsight on a new site build and discovered the anomaly.

Telrad needs to issue a bulletin and check the T0 3.65 too.

Off we go to rescue our network....
