We bought a sunsight over a year ago for accuracy, but 9 times out of 10 we could not get the AZM to kick in…it was more of a pain is the ass. We updated the firmware recently…seems to have fixed the problem…works reliably and accurately. This is how we discovered the anomaly.

I have never trusted tilt markings because I suspect there's only so much manufacturing tolerance they can/will put put into little stamped markings. Then sometimes there's a 1/10th inch or so of play in the assembly of the hardware. A tenth inch might be half a degree, and that's a lot. I'm currently having a battle of wills with a tower climber about this very topic.
