On a side note, we found performance between KP and Alpha to be very comparable
with LTE.
We got some Alpha’s after Telrad recommended them, and did not notice an
improvement. Side by side tests were very close.

Subject: [Telrad] ALPHA Tilt - huge problem.

Well, I hope Alpha will be compensating us for every site we need to revisit.
I AM absolutely Furious!!

Every single one of our sites we use a level or inclometer on a mount for 0 deg
or compensate... Set the antenna for 3-4 degrees... according to our RNP and
call it a day.

We have discovered that ALL our ALPHA degree markings are 2 degrees off!

This means my entire network... Which has felt like self interference... Is
self interference. All the antennas are 1 to 2 degrees tilt!!!

Please see attached photos...

We used a sunsight azimuth and tilt meter to confirm. We used the sunsight on
a new site build and discovered the anomaly.

Telrad needs to issue a bulletin and check the T0 3.65 too.

Off we go to rescue our network....

Cheers,
