Same would apply to MathTime etc. Keep in mind that the *metric* files are of course "free". Even for fonts from major foundries like Adobe.
well, but not macros. Several mathtime macros were removed from tetex 2.0 because of nonfree license, e.g. in ChangeLog of tetex-texmf-2.0 you see:
